This is done under contrast with UNBC Facilities. Regular Projects include the management of :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dangerous Trees Management<\/li>\n<li>Fire fuel load reductions<\/li>\n<li>Brush control<\/li>\n<li>mapUNBC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Society helps instruct several with a number of Natural Resource Management and Forestry courses often exploring the UNBC Forest Lands for class or lab work.\u00a0 Some of the classes we assist with are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FSTY 209 Forest Ecology and Silvics<\/li>\n<li>FSTY 305 Silviculture<\/li>\n<li>NREM 333 &#8211; Field Camp<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Society also maintains the <a title=\"#mapUNBC\" href=\"http:\/\/alrf.unbc.ca\/?page_id=1845\">#mapUNBC<\/a> project<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Aleza Lake Research Forest Society also takes an active in management of the the forest lands around the Prince George Campus.
