Long-term data collected and archived by the Research \t\t\t\t\t\t  Forest is available to support all types of forest-based research. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helv,Helvetica\">As a working forest, there is ample opportunity to experiment with innovation related to everything from harvesting, to silvicultural treatments, to non-timber forest products. As a small timber producer, the Research Forest is also well suited as a supplier of specialty lumber for the development of value-added products. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helv,Helvetica\">Preservation of selected research sites established by the provincial government continues today.
